OUR PEOPLE

From the Govenor-General of Australia

Recipients at a recent investiture ceremony at Government House remind us that service takes many forms. At Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General recognised 18 Australians whose contributions have enriched our communities and strengthened our nation.

From conservation and community to mountain biking, judiciary and public service, each recipient has demonstrated an enduring commitment to making a positive difference.

Recipients included RAEME’s own WO1 Scott James Kelly CSM.

Keeping it in the family

57 years after Michael Berris marched out of a frigid 1RTB, Kapooka, his 18yo son Andrew has achieved the same in mid-August. He will head off to train as an Aircraft technician.  A very proud moment for Michael. Welcome to the wider Corps family, Andrew. We hope to get a story about your family’s service for a future edition.
