WE WILL REMEMBER THEM
Vale Brian Touhy
It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Brian Touhy — known affectionately as “BT” or “2E” — a larger‑than‑life mate whose enthusiasm for service, friendship and adventure defined his decades within the Corps. Brian first joined the CMF in 1975 as a Craftsman at 107 Field Workshop, Warradale Barracks, shortly after completing his Fitter and Turner apprenticeship with General Motors Holden. He quickly embraced Army life as part of the Citizen’s Military Force (CMF). Promotion came quickly for Brian. As a Corporal, he held the position of PMC of the OR’s Mess, where he became known for running outstanding functions and bringing people together.
