The RAEME Sunshine Coast crew is back on deck for our next get-together, and we’d love to see you there!

Our next gathering is scheduled for Sunday, 12 April 2026, once again at the Alex Surf Club, kicking off from 1200 hrs (midday).

These get-togethers have been extremely successful, with healthy turnouts of around 50 people at recent events. It’s always fantastic to catch up with friends and old mates, share a few stories, and welcome some new faces into the fold. If you haven’t been along before, this is a great opportunity to reconnect with the RAEME family in a relaxed and friendly setting.

We’ll also have a few lucky door prizes up for grabs on the day,  just a little extra incentive to come along and enjoy the company.

Please let us know if you’re able to attend, so we can confirm numbers and arrange the appropriate booking with the club.

RAEME Sunshine Coast Chapter

RAEME Association Queensland members and friends in North Queensland are warmly invited to come together in Townsville this ANZAC Day, Saturday 25 April 2026, to honour those who have served and to maintain the strong connection within our Corps community.

The event centrese around commemorationg ANZAC Day with the parade on the Starand, and a pre and post-march gathering at Flynn’s Irish Bar, providing a place for members, families and supporters to meet before stepping off for the march and again afterwards.

• Time: From 0630 hrs – 1200 hrs
• Location: Flynn’s Irish Bar, Townsville

Program

• 0630 hrs – Doors open at Flynn’s Irish Bar for pre-march gathering
• Approx. 0900 hrs – Strand March
• Post-March – Return to Flynn’s to continue the ANZAC Day gathering

This is an opportunity for members to support the Corps, fellow serving members and veterans, and commemorate ANZAC Day together.
