Who: All former-serving RAEME members. Current serving members will be provided an alternate means to respond


NOTE: RSVPs are mandatory for members who do not possess a current DCAC. Registration closes on 17 May 2025.


Where: Gaza Ridge Barracks, North Bandiana

When: 20 May 2026. The current schedule is:

  • 0900 h – Guests/Spectators Arrive and are escorted to the Corps Static Display
  • 1030 h – Parade Spectators move to the parade viewing areas
  • 1100 h – Parade Commences
  • 1230 h – Parade finishes
  • 1400 h – All Spectators to have departed
  • 1800 h – Formal dinner (By invitation only)
  • 1730 for 1800 h – Informal dinner for all others who wish to attend

Reviewing Officer: The Commander FORCOMD, MAJGEN A. Duncan, AM, CSC.

Host Officer: The Head of Corps (HOC), BRIG G. Follett, AM.

Access to Base. Visitors are required to be pre-authorised and have appropriate identification available. Individuals or groups who arrive at the North Bandiana Access Control Point without a valid DCAC or prior authorization, will be directed to MSS Security Staff for alternate access approval.

Once cleared to enter, visitors are to be managed to the allocated parking locations by the parking attendants. Once parked the visitors are to be visually escorted from the car park to the parade location.

Dress: The dress for members spectating in the Banner Parade will be:

  • Army – Dress Order 1B, Ceremonial Service Dress
  • Air Force – Ceremonial Dress 3 black belt
  • Work Party/Parking attendants – 4A
  • Families and civilian spectators to wear neat civilian attire.

Dress for VIPs and Guests

  • Army – Dress Order 1A, Ceremonial Parade Service Dress
  • Air Force – Ceremonial Dress 3 black belt
  • Civilians to wear Suit and Tie. 

Formal dinner: Commences at 1800h. Attendance is by ASEME invitation only

Informal Dinner: An informal dinner will be held as follows:

  • Location: The Blazing Stump in the Mountain Deck Room
  • Dress: Neat casual
  • Who: All members, servince or former and families.
  • Timings:
    • 1730 h – Guests arrive for welcome drinks and socialisation
    • 1800 h – Guests will order their meals from the bistro at 1800h. This will allow all meals to be delivered at roughly the same time.

FAQ

Yes. The exact numbers of permitted attendees is yet to be determined. Those members who submit this Expression of Interest to Attend will be notified by email of their acceptance to attend.

Whilst details of attendance numbers are yet to be confirmed, should it be required, priority of attendance will be given to members who formed part of the original parade in 1986.

Yes. Prior to attendance, you will be requested to provide the full name and identification numbers, for example, drivers licence or passport number, of everyone in your party permitted to attend. This will be provided to Base Security. You will then be required to show this identification on arrival.

Parking at North Bandiana will be limited. Attendees will be requested to car pool or catch public transport to the event.

The full schedule of activities will be promulgated once complete.
